The topic of information visualisation has always been relevant in my design practice. This is why I decided to write and design my dissertation on the subject, and to reflect on the what I had learned throughout the process.
The book is cut in half and must be assembled together in order to be understood, making the reader experience paramount, highlighting the need for collaboration in design. On the left hand page there are what appear to be jumbled, meaningless words; they become understandable once they are put in the right order. This acts as a simple graphic demonstration of how properly handled raw data can become information.
