Sant Joan ‘22

Sant Joan (June 24th), the longest day of the year and the celebration of the summer solstice. Different pagan rituals have been happening across Europe for centuries, most of them using fire to scare away demons and bad spirits.
The dinner menu for that day was specially designed with all these traditions in mind, making color and fire the leading actors for the night. The main dish placed across the table was a 2-meter-long coca de recapte, a traditional Catalan dish eaten for Sant Joan.
