The Paint Dinner
The painter Violeta Maya wanted to host a dinner in her Madrid studio, where guests could experience and taste her artwork.
Inspired by Violeta's color palette, textures and work process we created an experience for people to eat, play and interact with the artist's artwork through food. Flatbreads acted as canvas, colorful dips as paint, and the toppings as pigments. Guests were encouraged to explore and improvise with different color and texture combinations, just as Violeta does in her work. All color shades in the experience were achieved using natural pigments from different vegetables, nuts, and algae.
